Stay Camp Frequently Asked Questions

My camper(s) were registered for summer 2020, will their spot be held for summer 2021?

Yes! All campers who were registered for summer 2020 will automatically be registered for summer 2021. However, we ask that families and campers complete new paperwork for 2021.

My camper(s) were on the waitlist for summer 2020, will they have a spot for summer 2021?

Although we cannot guarantee your camper will be registered for summer 2021, we strongly encourage our waitlist families to fill out the paperwork as soon as possible. If spots become available we will register waitlist campers who have all their paperwork completed.

I paid for my camper’s summer 2020 registration, will my family be refunded for that?

We are offering the following options for refunds

  1. A full refund of your camp fee
  2. Rolling your paid deposits over to Summer Camp 2021
  3. Donating your camp fees, as a tax deductible donation, to help offset the costs of our Virtual programs that we are providing this summer.

How much does virtual programming cost?

Virtual camp activities are free to all campers who were registered or waitlisted as of April 1st, 2020. This includes access to all the videos and camp in the box activity kits. We are excepting donations of any amount to help offset the cost of providing these virtual programs.

How can I sign my child up?

Campers who are registered/waitlisted for summer 2020 will automatically be enrolled in virtual programming. All families will need to complete some additional paperwork to confirm their camper’s participation.

How can my camper access the videos?

All video content will be upload in advance to our website under the Recorded Video section. Under the Live Video tab will be detailed information on how to connect with us through Zoom, Facebook, and other social media platforms we may be using.

Will I need to participate in activities with my camper?

All of our activities are designed so that camper should be able to do them on their own, however some activities may require supervision or help. We encourage families to participate in camp activities if they would like.

Can my campers’ siblings participate?

We will only be providing enough activity supplies for campers who are registered or on the waitlist. However, we encourage siblings or other family members to participate in camp activities as much as they would like.

How long will virtual camp last?

We are planning to run virtual camp until the beginning of August. However, we are continuing to monitor COVID-19 in our community and are hopeful we may be able to provide in-person programs in late summer. Throughout the summer, we will continue to follow all social distancing orders or recommendations from the Center of Disease Control to ensure that campers and their families are safe and healthy.
