Register a Child

We are so glad you are interested in having your child participate in Sherwood Forest’s programs. We are now enrolling children who are currently in 1st grade through 9th grade for our summer 2017 camp sessions, which also include year-round components. Please note that 8th grade campers must have completed Trek (the 7th grade program) prior to applying for Adventure, and 9th grade campers must have completed Adventure and Trek (the 7th and 8th grade programs) prior to applying for Journey.

Summer 2017 Dates:
Mini Camp: June 2 -4
Boys Camp: June 7 – July 2
Girls Camp: July 8 – August 2

Additionally, if your child is currently in 8th or 9th grade, please contact our office for application inquiries. NOTE: In order to participate in our Leadership Adventure program for 8th graders, your child must have completed Trek in 2016. In order to participate in our Leadership Journey program for 9th graders, your child must have completed Adventure in 2016 and Trek in 2015.

Completed applications and additional paperwork can be scanned and emailed to Aaron Foster, our Registrar, at or faxed to 314-644-3330. You may also mail your paperwork to our administrative office:

We will contact you within one – two weeks of receiving of your child’s application to confirm receipt, let you know the status of the application, and ask any additional questions. Certain campers may also require an interview, and a parent or guardian must attend. Campers requiring an interview include, but are not limited to, the following:
– All campers attending a 26-day session for the first time.
– All campers entering the Leadership Training Program for the first time.
– All Adventure (8th grade) campers.
– Any previous campers with “Conditional” return status.


The fee for one child to attend Sherwood Forest is $75, regardless of the length of the camp session. This includes a non-refundable registration fee of $25 and a $50 camp fee. Wait List:

Spaces in our camp program are limited and fill up quickly. Once a session is full, we create a wait list. In order for your child to be added to the wait list, we must have their completed application. If a child cancels their enrollment and a space becomes available, we call down the wait list until we find a child who is still interested in coming to camp. We will call as soon as we know there is a space available, and this could be any time from now up until the first day of camp (for example, if another child does not show up at his/her bus stop). There is no guarantee that we will have any cancellations, so please continue to look for other summer opportunities while your child is on the wait list.
