On Saturday, May 5, the community came together at Sherwood Forest’s Blue Jean Ball at The Caramel Room to celebrate the strength, growth, and success of the kids of Sherwood Forest and to support their camp experiences. The event raised more than $175,000 and featured a cocktail hour with hors D’oeuvres, live music from Pik’n Lik’n, silent and live auctions, and campership donations.

Because of the Blue Jean Ball, more than 35 kids from low-income families will have the opportunity to attend camp this summer, where they will try new activities, learn to overcome challenges, find new interests, develop skills, build friendships, prepare for their future, and discover the best in themselves.

If you were unable to attend the event but would still like give a child the opportunity to attend camp this summer, it’s not too late! You can still make a donation to the Blue Jean Ball and support one or more of our campers.
