Last month, 12 Supports for Success participants visited Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri during their homecoming weekend. 10th, 11th, and 12th graders were all eligible to participate in the school visit.

The group spent the day learning about Truman through an admissions presentation and tour. They were also able to get a student’s perspective when they had lunch with Monica, a current Truman freshman and Sherwood Forest alum.

This fall, there was also a visit to Fontbonne University and there are plans for future visits to UMSL and SIU-E. College campus visits help Supports for Success participants start to identify what they are looking for in a college and the program provides further support with helping them with applications, financial aide, and more.
